Design and implement programs which enhance the social and cognitive skills of children with special educational needs.

Point out problems in the educational unit as well as the education system and design research in order to address them.

Use the knowledge they obtained during their 2-year study to better practice their profession.

Assess the main factors that affect the learning process and critically evaluate the main findings of contemporary research associated with the learning and teaching process.

Evaluate the educational principles which can enhance the effectiveness of the teaching process in Special Education as well as critically compare the teaching methods that are suitable for each learning context (for example: individual, group, formal, informal).

Critically review educational policies and institutional regulations, as well as administration and schools and educational organizations evaluation, especially in Special Education.
